Recently announced, the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia looks set to become the ultimate; the emperor, the king of mobile phones!
What is the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia?
Announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia is the first phone from that Swedish mobile phone maker to be built around the ultra-powerful Windows Mobile operating system. But even with that super-advanced software (with a new, never-seen-before version of Windows Mobile, version 6.1), it's clear that it's no slouch in terms of hardware either, as it features the innovative new 'arc slider' design. In other words, as you slide open the phone, to reveal the QWERTY keyboard, the screen portion changes the angle it sits at, making it easier to view when using the keyboard on this stunning mobile phone.
Mix that feature up with an all-metal body, and you really do get one sexy beast in the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia. But, of course, the innovation doesn't just stop at the looks; it's also one of the first mobile phones to feature and optical mouse pad. Or, in other words, a little square of plastic that acts just like the one on your laptop, that controls the mouse pointer.
Stunning and clever!
See the future of mobile phones!
And then, you fire up the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia, and it opens up a whole new world of cool stuff, starting with the innovative 'panel interface', something else that's never been seen before! Basically, the phone has 9 different home screens, dependent on feature. So, there's 1 for music, 1 for the calendar, 1 for photos, and so on and so on. With the panel interface, all 9 home-screens are up on screen, and you just touch one of them to expand it to full screen. And since it's totally configurable, the panel interface is a fabulous addition, and something that really stands the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia out from the crowd.
With a wealth of awesome features, including a 3 megapixel camera, and HSDPA internet access (yep, that means speeds up to 3.6Mbps), there's no denying that the Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia is awesome. As in, really awesome. In fact, in the world of mobile phones, it's just the best ever seen!
